PTI is proud to have strengthened our faculty.  Our student/teacher ratio is greatly improved, and the teachers have vastly more experience than ever before. Class reviews indicate that the quality of the PTI experience continues to improve for the students.

Bob McGuire, P.E. - Founder and President of both Paintball Training Institute and American Paintball League. Bob teaches classes on high pressure theory, hazmat training requirements, and high pressure vessel inspection techniques.  He also personally teaches the Business and Marketing, and the C6 classes. Bob is a registered professional engineer and draws on his vast experience with all of the major companies and people in the paintball industry, as well as his previous college teaching experience and his experience writing ASTM paintball standards.

Tim Montgomery - Tim is the PTI Head Instructor, in charge of all PTI technical classes. He is a C5a graduate and an expert airsmith, and owns a very successful paintball store and field in Knoxville. You will benefit from his many years of practical hands-on airsmithing.

Bill Wilson -  A professional school administrator with thirty years of teaching experience. Bill was hired to bring PTI classes to a new level, with special attention to providing support services for all of the instructors. He is also responsible for developing and updating curricula.

Micah Salyer - Micah is a Master Airsmith from the ranks of PTI graduates, and has extensive experience working on all of the major marker brands. Micah serves as a Master Airsmith instructor for PTI, and also teaches the referee classes.

Travis Quakenbush - A PTI C5a graduate who talks quietly but carries a solid background and lots of experience working in the Ft. Wayne, Indiana area.  Travis is a Master instructor for PTI.

Wesley Tester - A recent PTI C5a graduate with extensive teaching experience, Wesley owns a marker repair business in North Kentucky and is an assistant instructor for PTI.
